Japan Trip – First Night in Japan
March 9, 2020
This Japan trip of ours is divided into parts ’cause it’s gonna be a long one.
After having a bad experience with the previous airline that we flew on when we went to Taiwan, this time, my girlfriend and I agreed to choose Japan Airlines (JAL).
One of the things that I’ve learned about myself is that I don’t like to settle with mediocrity and mainstream. In choosing things especially for myself, I always try my best to get the things that I believe I deserve because these are the things that definitely suit my taste and my “kind of thing”. If I could afford to buy something, I would definitely select the best, the bestest, with all the positive adjectives (in their superlative forms) that you can find in the English dictionary to describe that “something”. Otherwise, if I couldn’t afford it, I’ll go for the second best.
The flight took 4 hours and we subsequently arrived in Narita in the evening. We met my Japanese friend at the airport. This very kind gentleman picked us up and even brought us to our hotel.

But before we went to our hotel, we had to eat our dinner first. We ate in Sushiro Narita in Uingutsuchiya and experienced the kaiten-zushi (or “conveyor belt sushi”, or “rotation sushi”) for the first time.
