Japan Trip – Strolling and Food Trip
March 10, 2020
First in our itinerary was going to a park. On our way to the train station, we saw this cow’s ass protruding from the wall. I didn’t miss taking a picture of it. I believe that this is a good marketing strategy to attract customers. And I was definitely attracted to it. If only we didn’t have a schedule that day, I would have invited my girlfriend and my Japanese friend to eat there.
The yakiniku restaurant’s name is Yakinikuto Asakusabashi (日本焼肉党 浅草橋西口店). It’s located at 1 Chome-12-6 Asakusabashi, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0053, Japan.
We didn’t expect to see cherry blossoms prior to our trip because it wasn’t their time to bloom yet. However, we saw a similar genus of them which kind of look like Sakura therefore we were blissful. 💕😊🌸
I added a little bit of spice to this photo with falling flowers effect. I got the tutorial from SonduckFilm.
After strolling and taking pictures in Ueno Park, we went to Ameya-Yokochō and bought some chocolates.
During the early phase of the pandemic, masks were super expensive.
We then went to Togoshi Ginza Shopping Street to try the street foods. We ate taiyaki, katsu sando, yakitori, and a skewer of flavored pork wrapped with sticky rice ball. They were all delicious.
In the night, we took the Sky Bus Tokyo tour to see the fascinating Tokyo Tower lit up against the night sky. The bus took highways along the way and went beneath the Rainbow Bridge. While riding the two-storey open-top bus, it felt like we were in a theme park attraction.
The bus stopped at Aqua City Odaiba. We were given an hour break before going back to the departure point so we took the opportunity to take memorable photos including the monumental life-size Gundam statue.
This is another photo that I edited. I just added a blinking light animation that changes color to my still photo in Adobe Photoshop and exported it to GIF; and then converted it to WebP.
Before going home, we ate our dinner at Nikujiru gyoza Dandadan Asakusabashi.
Having the magnificent architectural design of Tokyo Station as a background must definitely conclude our day two.
